Wizard Entertainment Complex has opened in the city of Nizhni Novgorod — a unique facility created by various professionals, including the Nizhni Novgorod office of A&T Trade Company, who designed and implemented the sound solutions for the new club.

Wizard is intended for many different applications — discos, live concerts, presentations, children’s shows, chamber music, free wrestling, sports programmes — the list is endless. The building itself is divided into two sections – ‘quiet’ and ‘loud’. The concert hall is located on the first floor, while the second floor houses billiards, games machines, restaurant and a bar.

For Nizhni Novgorod, Wizard is the first example of creating comprehensive entertain-ment facilities. The complex was designed from the ground up, whereas usual scenarios involve adaptation of existing audio/lighting systems.

Specialists from A&T Trade’s Nizhni Novgorod office directly participated in the design, giving advice on finishing, and even persuading the client to apply the ‘live concert’ option.

The concert hall is equipped with the reliability of Martin Audio, including Blackline S218 subwoofers, four F12 front cabinets and two F10 end cabinets.

Although initially the building wasn’t finished with sound insulation, the application of this architectural solution has led to a brilliant acoustic result, with the clarity of the Martin Audio systems bringing the best out of the space.
